Someone else, then AI, then back

Once I was fully booked. He hired someone else. Conversion fell from 28% to 2%. He came back. Ten minutes to restore a local copy, two hours to turn off plugins he didn't need, one day to fix the code and move the features. He also tried pages with AI. They didn't match the theme. The store came back because he held the source.

App for a temperature patch

A medical device temperature patch. Hardware numbers on the phone. I wrote iOS natively, then had Android follow that same architecture. The match was 98%.

He looked, and it stunned him

A friend who runs a software company gave two apps to two developers. I built the temperature patch. He held the design against the screens and couldn't tell them apart. The match was 98%. The study-abroad app was generated with AI and handed over as is. It looked cheap. He asked me to rebuild it. That one also landed at 98%.

This fidelity... it's amazing. I can't even tell which is the design and which is the finished app.

I quit and started taking client work. The tech director at my old company introduced this one. Four parts: vehicle catalog, location search, date booking, online payment. He said it felt fast. He came back with two more. In those three months I built 3 mini programs. This was the first.

The code matches the design. Fast to use, and technically strong.
